Oolitic Chert Cabochon From The Utah Desert

Ooooodles of oolites make up this amazing pendant! Oolites are masses of tiny little orbs congregated together and compacted into layers.

These specific orbs came from the desert of Utah and were self collected, slabbed then cut en cabochon. With the polished face it definitely brings out their characteristics.
